Incoming Raw Material Control

Quality begins at the source. Every batch of raw material—whether stainless steel (304, 316, 321), Inconel, Monel, Titanium, or soft iron—undergoes rigorous inspection upon arrival. Our QC team verifies:

  • Chemical composition analysis (spectrometer testing)
  • Mechanical properties (tensile strength, yield strength)
  • Hardness testing (Rockwell/Brinell)
  • Material certification and mill test reports
  • Visual inspection for surface defects

Only materials that fully meet our specification and API 6A/ASME B16.20 requirements are approved for production.

In-Process Quality Control

During CNC machining, our operators perform continuous dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments:

  • Optical comparators for profile verification
  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for tolerance validation
  • Micrometers and calipers for critical dimensions
  • Surface roughness testers for finish quality

Heat treatment cycles are strictly monitored with calibrated furnaces, and hardness is re-verified after processing to ensure consistent material properties throughout the gasket.

Final Inspection & Release

Before any gasket is released for shipment, it undergoes a comprehensive final inspection that includes:

  • 100% dimensional inspection against engineering drawings
  • Hardness verification (per API 6A requirements)
  • Visual surface inspection (no cracks, scratches, or defects)
  • Pressure simulation testing on representative samples
  • Lot traceability verification

Every shipment is accompanied by a complete documentation package, including MTC per EN 10204 3.1, dimensional reports, and hardness test records.
