Material Traceability from Source

Every batch of raw material we receive – whether stainless steel (304, 316, 321), Inconel, Monel, Titanium, or soft iron – is accompanied by its own Mill Test Certificate from the supplier. Our team verifies the chemical composition, mechanical properties, and heat number against the certificate before accepting the material into inventory.

We then assign a unique lot number to each material batch, which follows the material through every subsequent production stage. This lot number is permanently recorded on all production records, inspection reports, and the final MTC.

Production Process Documentation

Throughout the manufacturing process, our digital quality management system captures and stores critical data for each lot:

• CNC machining parameters (tooling, feed rates, dimensions)
• Heat treatment cycles (temperature profiles, duration, quench method)
• In-process dimensional inspection results
• Hardness test readings (Rockwell/Brinell)
• Final dimensional verification (CMM, optical comparator)
• Surface finish measurements
• Visual inspection records and any non-conformance reports

All this data is linked to the lot number and stored in our secure database for future reference, audits, or client requests.

Mill Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1

For every shipment, we provide a comprehensive Mill Test Certificate (MTC) in strict accordance with EN 10204 3.1. This certificate includes:

• Material grade and specification (e.g., ASTM A182 F316, Inconel 625)
• Chemical composition analysis (with actual test results)
• Mechanical properties (tensile, yield, elongation, hardness)
• Heat treatment details (time, temperature, cooling method)
• Dimensional inspection results (with tolerances)
• Unique lot number and date of manufacture
• Conformity statement to API 6A and ASME B16.20

The MTC is signed off by our quality assurance manager and is independently verifiable. This document provides full confidence to clients, end-users, and regulatory authorities.
